Cindy Johnson, CPC
President
Cindy Johnson founded CareerTrac Professional Group (originally as CareerTrac Employment Services) in 1991 after serving as a top producer with a leading Milwaukee employment agency and obtaining her CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) certification.

Cindy’s background also includes experience as the Human Resource Director for a major Milwaukee law firm, preceded by 10 years of HR experience in both the manufacturing and service sectors.

Cindy’s passion is still working one-on-one with her clients and candidates, as well as providing training and leadership to her team.

Cindy currently serves on the Advisory Board of MATC legal programs, and is an active member of the Waukesha Chamber of Commerce, Human Resource Management Association (HRMA), and Wisconsin Association of Personnel Services (WAPS). She is a past member of the Women’s Business Owners Network (WBON), and National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS).

Ed Buchholz
Vice President
Ed brings extensive experience as both a business owner and a professional recruiter to his work as Vice President. Before joining CareerTrac Professional Group in 2003, he served for 12+ years as a professional executive recruiter. Prior to his recruitment experience, Ed gained entrepreneurial expertise as the founder and long-term manager of two successful businesses. Ed specializes in sourcing and placing exceptional talent in the following sectors:

  • Public relations
  • Publishing

Ed’s business sense helps him gain quick, accurate insight into the talent needs of his clients, making him a valuable asset to companies seeking to strengthen their bottom line through the building of an exceptional workforce. He applies in-depth interviewing and fact finding skills to personally evaluate each candidate, assessing the match between a candidate’s technical and interpersonal skills and a client’s specific requirements and objectives.

The bottom line for Ed is presenting candidates that precisely match a client’s criteria, saving both time and money. His goal is to develop and maintain long-term professional partnerships with clients who share common business goals, ethics, and standards.
